Minnesota DFL State Convention
The 2026 Minnesota DFL State Convention will be held from May 29–31, 2026, at the Mayo Civic Center (30 Civic Center Drive SE, 55904) in Rochester, MN. This major political event will focus on endorsing candidates for state-level offices—including Governor, U.S. Senate, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and State Auditor—and shaping the party platform for the upcoming election cycle.

The 135th Aitkin County Fair will take place July 8–11, 2026

All of Minnesota's executive officers will be up for election, as well as one United States Senate seat, Minnesota’s eight seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, all the seats in Minnesota Senate and the Minnesota House of Representatives, several judicial seats, and several seats for local offices.

Aitkin County DFL Highway Clean-up!
Aitkin County DFL and DFL Club will be joining together to clean-up the 1.5 mile section of highway 47 we’ve adopted just a few minutes east of Aitkin. Look for our crew in high visibility vests.
We will have bags and flourescent vests as well as some grabbers. Boots or old tennis shoes are good. Gloves are a very good accesory.
If we get a good number of folks, we should be done in less than two hours (lunchtime) ~ and could eat lunch together!
